Attention Webmasters and Bloggers: Google Is Watching You

It is always the case with the blogger or webmaster owning more than one blogs or websites. The main question keeps always arising in mind is "Do a interlinking of my website may benefit each other as backlinks?", and the answer I found is "No". Let me explain this point in more details.

As I explained in my last articles, only the backlinks that are anchor text link from within the content and from similar niche website or relevant content will be able to deliver link juice and hence ranking power to your link. If you own more than one blog in different niche or more than one domain in the same niche, you will surely try to interlink them to get more backlinks from your own websites or blogs.

Wait. What if Google knows that you are the solely owner of all these websites and you put those links to get backlink only, chances are that your links will be of no importance and you might not get any benefit from there.

But how Google can know that I own all these websites?

Simply because Google is the giant company and owns most webmaster tools like Google toolbar, Google webmasters tools, Google analytics, Google AdSense etc.

If you are the owner of multiple websites or blogs,

You might have integrated Google analytics code form the same Google account.
You might have used single Gmail account for all communication regarding those websites.
You might have monetized your blog to make money online from the same Google AdSense account.
You might have registered all your blogs under the same Google webmasters account.
You might have been surfing in Google search engine for finding information and to research about your domains while logged in with your Google account.
You might have been updating and maintaining your all domains from the same internet (IP) address. May be your home or office. Your IP can be detected by Google analytics script you might have integrated in your blogs.

Any way, nothing is officially announced by Google but I think Google is smart enough to know and understand about what happening over internet. After upgrading the Google search algorithm, indexing and processing of indexed data has become much more faster than ever. For example, if you are using dummy social accounts to spread your links, Google's smart algorithm can easily detect it as such dummy account do not have real list of followers or genuine activities on internet.

What is the solution?

I think this is not the problem with white hat SEO experts and genuine bloggers. There is no risk if you are not trying to hide any thing from Google. Solution is only that you do not underestimate the Google and do not try use wrong strategies to market your blog online or to spread your link popularity online, other wise you will be easily cached by Internet giant.

How to Use Google AdWords to Set Up a Campaign to Get Results

If you are using Google AdWords to market your website I commend you. Google has a ton of opportunities available for online businesses. Their platform not only allows you to carefully create specific ads suited to the needs of your market, but it also allows you to quickly reach your market with just a bit of effort. So, if you are considering using Google AdWords located at Google.com/ads, there are some tips I'd like to share with you. It's not a very difficult process, you just need to know ahead of time the needs of your market as well as what you have available to them.

Looking even further at the paid side, the right-hand side of Google, those are paid ads. Those are ads that show up for products you want to pitch to your market based upon keyword terms that they enter in the search engine. So, let's say someone typed in "weight loss" and you had a website selling weight loss pills, if you entered that same term "weight loss" into your ad, anyone who searched for that same term in the Google search engine would see your ad appear on the right hand side. How do you place an ad there? Consider signing up for a Google AdWords account. Basically what you're going to do is go to Google AdWords website located at Google.com/ads. What you're going to do is you're going to walk step-by-step through the whole process that they lay out for you. It's fairly simple. For example, they'll ask you specific targeted questions to ensure your ad is targeted appropriately to your needs. AdWords asks various things like; "Hey, where would you like your ads to appear? What country?" They'll say, "Hey, what ad would you like to appear?" "Hey, what keywords would you like, when somebody searches for those keywords, how much money would you like to spend if somebody clicks on these words, clicks on your ad?" And that's kind of what happens on the paid side.

Then what it does is it'll determine your ranking by two different variables. One, what keyword and how competitive that keyword is, and two, how much you're willing to pay. The more money you pay, the better results a lot of times, or the better your ad is, the better you're going to pay.

If you put in the time and energy whether you're using paid or free search, you should have no problem gaining some good traffic numbers which will help propel your business to the next level.

There are many strategies to making money on the internet, but nothing makes sense unless you have a big list. Email Marketing is the most profitable way to make money on the internet. How To Use Google AdWords To Get Laser Targeted Traffic

We all know that Traffic is what it's all about if you want to make money on line. Naturally every site is trying to get as much traffic as possible, but its not just size but also the quality and targeted nature of traffic that's also vitally important. This is where the ability to 'market' your site through the medium of the 'internet' comes in, hence the term Internet marketing. Websites must be seen and read, that's a given. You can spend tons of money and all of your time making the most beautiful, useful and informative site on the web, and without traffic it will get you nowhere.

Each person that visits your site is a potential customer for the products or services that you're offering, but for many of we internet marketers the primary function is to entice visitors to join our 'list' this offers the ability to market to them many times into the future. Some sites fail because they don't get traffic or don't get the right kind of traffic; but many sites have risen to the top by focusing on the specific needs of their niches or sub-niches.

The point is not just to get random traffic, but also to get the people who will actually buy from you. Sites work hard to target certain groups for this reason. It's important to do precision marketing through keyword research to get the right kind of traffic to your site.

It Takes Money To Make Money?

To a degree this is true but as with all things it's a case of size and in many instances initially spending a little but in a very focused and targeted manner can produce very worthwhile results

One of the greatest areas you can invest in is advertising. The right kind of advertising can get you a massive flow of traffic that you can use. Even if you only get a small percentage of sales from your traffic, more traffic will mean more cash, but also create increased awareness to your site. Bear in mind statistics show most visitors do not buy on first visit; indications are it takes at least 3 or 4 visits to establish the confidence to buy.

For on line advertising you need to be trying Google AdWords. It's simple, straightforward and undoubtedly works as you can target specific keywords that you believe people within your niche are searching for

The way it works is that you pay Google according to how many clicks (hence its called pay per click or PPC advertising) you ad receives. So in simple terms, a visitor to Google types in 'how to stop smoking?' if they then see your ad for 'stop smoking course' and click on it Google charge you for that click Your ads could be right there on the first page, it just depends how competitive your niche and the keywords you have chosen

Pay Per Click Better Known as PPC Advertising

This is a great method for getting your message in front of the right people. It also makes sure that you're have a good opportunity of getting on the first page of their search. It takes a little money, but it ensures that your potential customers will see you. You target them, and they head to your site to see what you have to offer. Bear in mind by setting a daily budget, once you have received clicks to the value of that budget Google don't run your ads anymore that day - the advantage is you can't go over your budget - you know what your costs are and the following day Google reinstate your ads and so it goes on. You can also cancel or pause a campaign at any time - you're always in control.

Other search engines have their own similar systems. Sites like Ask Jeeves, AOL Search, Yahoo and Bing also have their own ad systems. They have ads that respond to searches in just the same way.

There are also other sites that will display Google AdWords for you. This all depends on which niche you've chosen. The ads will only appear on relevant sites. The amount you pay also determines how often your ad will appear.

How To Laser Target Your Traffic

To make sure that your traffic is laser targeted, you'll need to monitor your stats. Google AdWords will also do this, giving you feedback on how your strategy is working. By laser targeting, you'll see the ratio of visitors to buying customers increase dramatically.

The key to laser targeting traffic is to choose the right keywords. You need keywords and keyword phrases that are relevant to your site and that also draw a good number of visitors. You can find free tools that will help you choose keywords. They'll show you how many searches a certain keyword is getting per month, and this will help you decide.

Google AdWords laser targets your traffic so that it stands to reason more of your visitors are likely to become customers over time. It will make sure that the people who are looking for your specific product or service will find it. The key to getting it all started is to make sure that your Google AdWords use the right keywords that will pull them in. Test, test and test again on small daily budgets.

Although it costs some up front investment, Google AdWords is a great way to profit on line.

A Word of Caution here ... The long-term profits will pay off in the end, but do tread carefully initially, make sure you set your daily budget pretty low to begin with, test it out, check your stats, do not increase the daily budget until you feel totally comfortable that you understand the way it works - there's been many before you who have lost a fortune on AdWords - so beware and cautious to start.

My top tip - dip your toe in the water with Google AdWords first, then when you're comfortable with the system, getting the desired results consider spreading your net a bit wider with some of the other search engines.

Using Google's Webmaster Tools to Help Your Backlinking and Ranking

When you're trying to rank your website to get organic search traffic, backlinking is the key. In short, the more back links you get, the higher you will go in the SERPs. Now of course this is a relative thing, but it's important to understand why.

Trying to rank against strong "authority sites" that have high Pagerank and thousands of backlinks can be an exercise in futility. But generally speaking, the more links, the better your site will do. But all back links aren't created equally. Links from strong sites, those with a high Page rank, are worth more to your site than those with lower rank. It's actually the passing of this "link juice" that gives your target site it's boost. This means you want higher value links.

Just as important however, perhaps even more pertinently is whether or not Google sees and counts your links. Though they may index nearly every page, not every link they come across counts towards your SERP ranking. How do you know which is which? That's where Google's Webmaster Tools comes into play.

Webmaster Tools was designed to show the webmaster where their links are coming from. As such, you can see which of the backlinks you are taking the time to get are being seen AND counted by Google. If it isn't in Webmaster Tools, it isn't doing your site any good, at least as far as boosting your ranking is concerned. Another great use for Google's Webmaster Tools is for you to see which links you might be able to take more advantage of. When you see that your links are sticking for instance from your blogs, Squidoo lenses, other sites, etc., you immediately know they are more valuable links. So why not go back and re-visit those web sites? You might just be able to post more links, or put in links to your other sites.

I spend a lot of time in Webmaster Tools. I look to see where my backlinking efforts are paying off, focus further efforts where they count, and reduce the time I put into those that aren't paying me dividends. Plus I comb through the results always looking for new and better sites to go back to with more links. It's also worth noting that Webmaster Tools will show you the specific pages where you are linking to. You should make sure to vary your links, vary your anchor text, and don't just link to your home page, but your inner pages as well.

Make Google Webmaster Tools a routine part of your own "site intelligence". You'll find you can spend your time in a more valuable manner, and that you avoid going through the process of building, checking, waiting, checking some more, all for something that won't help you in the long fun anyway.

Top 4 Ways to Effectively Use Google AdWords for Search Engine Marketing

There is no doubt that search engine optimization (SEO) is an effective way to establish an online presence for your business. But search engine marketing (SEM) and pay per click (PPC) platforms like Google AdWords should also be part of your marketing arsenal.

Here are the top 4 ways to effectively use Google AdWords for search engine marketing:

1) Establish an immediate presence. If your business is only just now turning its sights to the Internet, then you have a lot of catching up to do. No matter what business you're in, chances are some of your competitors already have a big head start in terms of ranking highly in the search engines for valuable keywords that potential customers use to find your products and services. But this is where Google AdWords can help. A PPC campaign allows you to immediately establish an online presence for your business while you wait for your organic search engine optimization efforts to take hold and start bearing fruit.

2) Test products, keywords and messages. If you're launching a new product or want to test out a new advertising message before going full scale, then Google AdWords is the perfect platform. You can have a new ad running in less than an hour, which will allow you to see how your target audience responds before committing tons of resources to a product or message that turns out to be a flop.

3) Promote seasonal or time sensitive products and services. SEO efforts take time, but Google AdWords, one of the most effective search engine marketing tools, allows you to quickly promote seasonal and time sensitive products or services without waiting months for them to appear organically in the search engines. This allows your business to easily transition from season to season and adapt to other changes in the market.

4) Gain valuable market data and insight. Google AdWords provides a wealth of information about your target audience, which can be used to further research and plan your SEM efforts. You can even use this PPC platform to track conversions so that you know what your "money keywords" are, which helps when deciding what keywords to focus your SEO efforts on. It's also useful for inventory planning and trend spotting, because it allows you to identify noticeable shifts in what your audience are searching for and what they are buying.
