How To Build Your List For Free Using Google Adwords

There are numerous ways you can go about building your list, but in my opinion using Google Adwords, and indeed other pay-per-click sites, is one of the best ways of building a highly targeted list of responsive subscribers. Not only that, but if done correctly, you can effectively build your list for free, as I will demonstrate in the remainder of this article.

I own numerous websites in a variety of niches, and have successfully built up large lists of subscribers for a lot of these sites. A large percentage of these subscribers have come from Google Adwords alone, and best of all it's hardly cost me anything at all.

It all comes down to one thing - Backend Commissions.

Here's what you need to do:

1. Find targeted, but relatively cheap keywords you can use to advertise your site on Google Adwords (less than $0.40 per click). The lower the better, and as any Adwords expert will tell you, you should start off by bidding low to be placed in the top 5-10 results in the pay-per-click results, and concentrate on maximising your click-thru rate with a compelling headline and compelling sales copy, to obtain a higher position without having to increase your cost-per-click.

2. Create an opt-in page and send the traffic you receive to this page. This site has to be compelling enough for the visitors you receive to fill out the opt-in form to subscribe to your list. You should offer a free report and/or bonus to get as many visitors to subscribe as possible.

3. Here's the crucial part. On your thank you page that your visitors are sent to after they have filled-in your form, you should place links to either your own product, or to a quality affiliate product that you can earn commissions from.

This is a highly effective way of earning backend commissions and effectively recouping your advertising costs, if you have a good offer. You'd be surprised at just how many people purchase from this thank you page. In my experience a typical response rate is often anywhere between 2% and 10%, and for certain sites I've received a 30% success rate, so in some instances I have actually made more money from sales than I actually paid out in pay-per-click advertising. Therefore, I'm effectively building my list for free, and earning small profits along the way.

If you think about it, it's not surprising people take you up on your offer because they have already trusted you enough to leave their name and email address with you, so why wouldn't they take you up on your offer?

One thing I will say though is that the product or offer that you place on your thank you page must be affordable (I would say $47 or less) otherwise you may find that none of your opt-in subscribers take you up on your offer. Look at it objectively and ask yourself whether you'd be tempted to purchase the offer if it was someone else's site, and you were the one that had just opted in.

In addition to using your thank you page as a way of recouping your advertising costs, another good way of achieving this goal is by giving away free reports or ebooks to your opt-in subscribers which contain your affiliate links. This provides another way of earning backend commissions, and although, in my experience, not quite as profitable as the thank you page method, can still deliver the occasional sale, which all helps to cover your pay-per-click advertising costs.

To sum up then, if you're building your list, make sure that you are fully utilising your thank you page as a way of earning commissions. If done correctly, you can successfully recoup your Adwords costs, or indeed those costs that arise from any other forms of promotion, and build your list for free. As I have hopefully demonstrated, this thank you page can be a very profitable page of your website, but unfortunately most people simply don't take advantage of this space and leave it blank, or just provide basic instructions for completing the opt-in process. I've been guilty of this myself in the past, but I now make sure that I have a way of receiving backend commissions on the thank you page of all of my niche websites.

Admittedly, there are some niches where the high cost-per-click means that it is very hard to recoup your advertising costs completely from backend commissions, but even so, you can still claw back some of your costs by using the methods I've discussed in this article.

Driving Targeted Traffic to Your Site Using Google AdWords

Any internet marketer recognizes the importance of driving targeted traffic to a website in view that the success of a website doesn't depend on the site itself. Your website idea may be good, but without using the correct strategy to generate traffic to your website, you will not be attracting sufficient traffic in order to be successful in generating enough income in order for your site to be self sustained.

There are many ways that you can attract traffic to your websites. Examples of these methods include article marketing, forum marketing, search engine marketing and etc. One of the most effective tools that you can consider is Google AdWords.

So, what are the benefits of using Google AdWords? One of the major benefits is that your traffic volume is more stable compared to if you were to rely only on search engine traffic. Search engine traffic is more vulnerable, there is no doubt about it. You have to keep building quality back links to your website in order to maintain the search engine ranking positions of your website. Unlike search engine marketing, using Google AdWords ensures that you receive continuous streams of highly targeted traffic.

Other than the continuous streams of traffic, you are given the options where and when your ads are to be shown. For example, if you would like to attract more visitors to your website from country A, you are allowed to do so.

Though there are many advantages of using Google AdWords as a way to attract immediate traffic to your website, the learning curve of the system is quite deep and may cost you a lot of monies if you do not understand how the system works.

Creating Backlinks Using Google AdWords

The key to building a successful business online is to generate as much traffic as you can in the shortest possible time. There are a lot of websites out there that have excellent design and well crafted content but generates poor traffic, which leads to the ultimate demise of their business.

Building an interesting and a highly creative website is just the beginning of your quest to success, everything else relies on how you promote your website in such a way that clients and customers will know about your site, find it, and keep coming back to it. Even when you have the best website in the world, if you do not have a consistent flow of traffic coming to it, all your work and all your efforts will be worthless.

There are several website owners out there that feel extremely frustrated because all their efforts of setting up a great looking website with the most interesting content in the planet do not produce any results - they do not get the ROI of traffic and return contrary to their expectations. So if you are planning to penetrate the online marketing industry, it is strongly recommended that you know how to get a steady stream of traffic to your site.

The very first thing that you need to do is to fully understand and grasp the whole idea of search engine optimization or SEO. You need to have the necessary skills as well that will help you improve your search engine rankings and make your website very easy to find in major search engines such as Google.

How Backlinks Affect Your Rankings

Almost all websites in the internet compete to get the highest possible rank in the Google search engine results. One way to do this is to feed your website as much backlinks from other sources as possible, this is because Google uses backlinks to determine the importance of your website - the website that has more backlinks are deemed more important and relevant hence given the first spot in the Google search engine results.

A website that has a lot of incoming links from other websites is considered a very popular site, which is why Google will love it. However, getting backlinks is not as easy as you think and it definitely cannot be done overnight.

Google AdWords has a special tool just for generating backlinks. Although that is one effective way to generate inbound links to your website, there are other ways that you can do aside from using Google AdWords that will also help you improve your website's rankings - submitting backlinks to Social Bookmarking sites, regularly producing quality content, using relevant keywords and phrases (with the help of the Google AdWords keyword search tool), blogging and submitting articles to online article directories.

How Can You Get Affordable Online Advertising Using Google AdWords

It is a common misconception that using pay-per-click is not an affordable online advertising to get fast profits. It is as profitable as you want to make it when you use this platform for your business. All it takes is a bit of getting used to.

To get started with AdWords the only thing that is necessary is to know how to work with the system. Google is the best company that you can align your business with. The benefits can be phenomenal provided you follow the rules.

The first thing you will want to do is get your website set up in a way that will get you a good quality score. If you are having difficulty take a step back and think about what your visitors will want to be reading. If you can construct your site in a way that visitors will stay on your site when they arrive and not use it as a bouncing site then you should be able to get a decent quality score. That is the easiest way to think about that area. If your site is of quality then your visitors should be spending a fair amount of time reading and interacting on your site.

One thing I'm not is a Google expert but in my opinion this is what will show your site has relevant content and that is if you have the ability to retain your visitor-interests on site.

If you have been involved in the affiliate marketing industry as of recent you will have probably heard how the affiliated websites seem to be getting hit hard from Google. That is one thing that I think backs up the theory of retaining visitor time on your site. Affiliated sites will tend to be bounce sites over to a merchant site a lot of times sometimes too soon causing them to pay a fortune for traffic.

Also reducing the amount of ad groups you have and starting out with minimal keyword phrases to trigger your ads will get you more exposure rather than splitting a low budget between a lot of phrases that will have your ad taken down when you reach your budget.

So if you can get your visitors to spend more time on your site by providing content they are interested in and start with a low amount of triggers then you should be able to pick up affordable online advertising using Google AdWords.

Getting More Website Traffic - 3 Ways You Can Easily Use Google AdWords to Grow Your Online Business

If you want to make a lot of money in your niche market you are going to have to make sure you are using Google AdWords to make it happen. They are still one of the largest sites on the internet and they can give you a lot of traffic if you know how to use them the right way. In this article I want to show you exactly how to use this source to grow your business.

The First Way - To Promote A Product That You Already Have...

If you already have a product that you are using to make money online then you need to make sure you are using Google AdWords to get visitors to that offer. The bottom line is that you need to make sure it is working to make a profit on the other sources you are using first! Then once it has proven it self, start using it on AdWords.

The Second Way - To Qualify A New Niche Market...

If you are trying to figure out which is the best market to go into, you are going to want to make sure you put up a test site and see if you can get visitors to that site using Google AdWords.

If you can get the visitors to your site for a good per click price & you can get the volume that you are looking for, that is a good indication that the market will work for you.

The Third Way - To Promote Other People's Products...

One of the fastest ways to get up and running online is to start promoting other people's products using this traffic source. You have to make sure you are focused on working in one niche market and mastering that one niche.

Once you have gotten good at promoting other people's products you can start adding in your own products and make even more money.

Make sure you start testing out these strategies right away so you can make more money with this source in your niche market.

Using Google AdWords to Boost Online Profits

I'm sold! Google AdWords is king. Up to this point I have been discussing the Data Entry portion of the "Work at Home" market, but my next series of posts will be discussing "Affiliate Marketing" and some tips to help you get started making money in this lucrative field. For years I have been studying SEO (free) methods to bring traffic to my websites and blogs, but recently I purchased a few programs that teach how to properly use Google AdWords to drive targeted traffic to my sites.

Most gave pretty much the same information (find a niche, research targeted keywords, get an AdWords account, create an ad/s, track to see what works and make needed changes.) They broke down each of these steps and made it sound pretty easy so I decided to loosen my grip on my wallet and take the leap into PPC (pay-per-click) land. I am so happy I did.

It takes months of trail and error, writing and rewriting, & quite a bit of work in general to get your site ranked anywhere near the first page of Google (where the real money is made.) Believe me I've tried and it's tough. I followed the instructions of the programs I purchased and after a stressful week waiting for my 1st campaign to get approved (I'm told it usually doesn't take that long), my ad showed up on the left side of the search page for most of my chosen keywords. After 2 weeks My ads are at the number one ad position for my 3 main keywords, because I guess I learned well and have a 5% click through ratio (which pretty good) for my main ad.

The best part is I have made $44.77 for every $10.00 worth of paid clicks on average so far. How great is that? I am so excited; and my head is spinning with ways to improve my current campaign and ideas for my next one. Back to the books/videos for me. I'm no AdWords expert (yet! stay tuned) so if I can make these kind of returns, anybody can. Imagine if you could make over $40 for every $10 you invest in your business? Sounds like a sure path to financial freedom to me.

Now all I have to do is follow the old adage and "Rinse and repeat" the steps I've taken so far. I can't guarantee you will get the same results as I have, but AdWords definitely smells like money to me. Over the next few weeks or so I'm going to give you:

The names of the programs I have and am still studying. How to find products to promote. Traditional affiliate programs vs. CPA (cost per action) The tools (like I've said I like the free ones)I use to do research. AdWords campaign creation. Ad writing tips. Online performance tracking programs. Payment options. Websites I found useful. Any other tips I can think of.

If you are just getting started with affiliate marketing free SEO is good, but if you want immediate results I suggest giving Google AdWords a try.

How to Get Targeted Website Traffic Using Google AdWords

The goal of every internet marketer is, of course, to make a profit. The most common methods of anyone online making a profit is usually through selling something, either information, or a literal product. Profit will normally happen if traffic (people visiting the website) can be directed to it. However, any kind will not do, but it must be targeted website traffic. This simply means it must be of the right kind.

While there are a lot of promises out there about how you should go about getting that traffic, one of the most common, and simple methods is to use Google AdWords. Google is the biggest search engine today.

Somewhere in the neighborhood of 83 or more percent of all people use it to do their searches. And strangely, enough, if you are not using Google AdWords, then you probably will not show up in the first 3 or 4 pages of the results. Now, if it were me doing the advertising, which would not make me very happy - because nobody will ever even know my website ever, existed, with those kind of results! Profit just became a dream!

Here are five ways to begin to get that desired targeted website traffic.

Learn About Keywords

If you are a beginner internet marketer, as we all once were at onetime, you need to know about keywords and how to find the right ones for your product, or niche market. Spend some time online learning how they work, and how to write them into your articles or ads that you put into your website. Also, learn the many things about keyword placement that will cause spiders to reject your webpage - that's no fun either.

Set Up Your Website

This will take a little work - if you do it properly. Many marketers only use pre-made websites that look professional and advertise a particular product. This is great, and works, but you usually cannot alter any information on it. If you make your own page, however, be sure to make it professional looking. Your potential customers won't be sticking around long if your "store" looks shabby.

Get An Account With Google AdWords

In order to begin to increase website traffic, you need to get an account with Google AdWords. You can have multiple diversity of ads running with Google AdWords. But remember, it is worth it, because now you're getting the most popular. It will take Google a little time to search out your website and give you an approval to initiate your campaign. But once they do, you want your ads ready to go.

Set Up Your Ads, And Watch Them

Signing up will allow you to put up multiple ad groups. After you get that account, you want to carefully write those ads. Again, take a little time to do your research here, too. It will be worth it. This is what people will see when they do their search on Google. To get an idea about what words to use, do a few searches yourself, and note the wording of the ads that are in the top positions. See what grabs your attention, and makes you want to go to that website.

Along with writing your ads, you will also choose an amount indicating either: how many cents per click you are will to spend; or, a total dollar amount per day, or month. This will determine you budget. Be very careful here - it can run up a bill real quick. Avoid using keywords that brings everybody to your website. Remember that you only want targeted website traffic - a particular crowd who is looking for the very thing you are selling. Some marketers suggest that if you have good keywords, you may not need to go much above 15 cents per click.

Watch Your Ads Results, And Make Changes As Indicated

Finally, watch your ads results to see which one is attracting the most attention. Stay with that idea, and rewrite your other ads in a similar way and change them a few times more, to get the best ad possible. When you have a good ad, and a good page rank with Google, then you will definitely increase website traffic in a way that you want.
