You may think that I am being a little bold in saying that I have the key Internet marketing idea. After all there are tons of successful marketing methods on the Internet. There are multiple ways to generate traffic. There are dozens of different types of sites that generate substantial revenue. There are successful storefronts, sales funnels, social networking sites, search engines, auctions, classifieds, news, etc. There is one key Internet marketing idea that all these successful sites have.
Why is it possible to have one thing that is the key Internet marketing idea? The Internet is full of hype. I am sure that is not news to you. Loud shrilly ads, overblown claims, and outright fraud are rampant on the Internet. Its like Time Square meets the Carnival. People are sick of it. The government has had to make laws governing the misuse of email. Programs have been developed to combat spy-ware to keep "merchants" from hijacking your computer. None of this is new to anyone.
Even through all of these lies, and betrayal the fact remains that the Internet is a great source of commerce. People still flock to the Internet to buy all sorts of things. They flock, however, to the sites that they have grown to trust. Trust is the key Internet marketing idea that your site must have in order to succeed. The way to build trust on the Internet is the same way that you build trust in real life. You earn it. You earn it by having high integrity and by providing, good, clear, relevant content on a regular basis. Your customer service needs to be excellent. Your willingness to go the extra mile needs to be seen.
Give more than you get. If your company is small then put yourself out there. Show people who you are and talk to them through video and writing. Allow them to see your humanness. If you are marketing in social networking do not start every conversation with a link. Allow yourself to be part of the community. Help others achieve what they want, and be relevant. Find people who are interested in what you have. Do not sell people who are not interested. Make offers but never pitch them. Always remember that trust is the key Internet marketing idea. If you do, then your success is just a matter of time.

Searching for a good freelancer can be like hitching a ride. You never know if you're going to find one that takes you exactly where you want to go to; or whip out a chainsaw in the middle of the trip. Advertising that you ran ages ago, or campaigns that were considered but didn't make the cut. They can renew themselves or initiate new thoughts.
A seminar you went to and spent $$$ on, you put the brochures aside and their they sit buried under paperwork or magazines. Go back over the agenda and notes of that experience, there is a golden nugget of an idea in their.
Products you previously promoted but stopped. If the company is still in business and successful they changed or maybe reinvented themselves, go back and see what their up to?
Keyword lists, yes keyword lists, a great place to find internet marketing ideas that you can recycle. If your like me you make them up all the time, when your watching TV, or a thought comes into your head while sitting in front of the monitor.
I will make up 30 to 50 keyword phrases at a time, then start to research them 3-5 at a time to come up with the keyword titles for my articles and videos. Some get tossed aside and forgotten about, find those list and research those tossed keywords there is a winner in their.

The Internet Marketers must continuously generate new ideas to market their businesses on line. The speed at which the Internet moves forces the Internet Marketer to stay creative 24/7. With so many ideas running through your mind you probably find it difficult to stay organized. You may even find it difficult to focus on finishing jobs while trying to keep your other ideas alive in your mind.
Here is a method I use to keep the creative juices flowing while staying organized:
Post It Notes: Grab your self a big block of those 4 X 4 sticky notes. Leave them on your desk, in your brief case or by your bed. When you get an Internet Marketing idea jot it down and place it in plain view. My sticky notes are stuck to the wall in front of my desk. If you need even more organization get yourself the colored sticky notes. For instance I use specific colors to jot down ideas for particular topics. Blue is for my air purification web sites, green is for my lead company, pink for joint ventures. You get the idea.
Date your notes. This is important for those opportunities that you do get to take time to browse through the whole group of ideas. The date keeps the fresh ideas up and front. The older ones may still be good ideas but you may never get to them if they are truly aged. It is important to clean your board so that it stays a vital part of your business. Your post it note board should be full of life and consistently change to stay effective.
Pick a day at least once per month to review your ideas. It is fun and profitable to go through your sticky notes. Some of my notes are absolutely ridiculous and I wonder what in the world I was thinking. Those notes should be placed in the trash can. Others are fabulous and have allowed some very creative and profitable business plans to be set into action.
The good Internet Marketing ideas should be sorted and moved to specific spots in the board so that action can be taken on them. When I do sort out my board the ideas I am going to work on in the next couple of weeks get placed into a goal planning book. Those that are good ideas stay on the board until the next round.
Sticky notes allow those Internet Marketing ideas to continuously flow. It takes 10 seconds to jot down a simple note that may be the most wonderful idea you ever had. If you don't write it down the idea may be lost forever.
